Why Valencia is a great place for a summer camp
Valencia is Spain's third-largest city, yet it feels relaxed and easy. It has long sandy beaches, flat bike paths, big parks and a warm Mediterranean climate. In July the days are usually around 30°C, and the sea is warm enough to swim every day.
It is also a real Spanish city, not a tourist bubble. Kids hear Spanish at the market, on the bus and on the beach. Valencia is easy to reach too, with direct flights from most European cities. You can read more about the city on the official Valencia tourism website.

Who the camp is for
The camp is for children and teenagers from 10 to 16 years old. We group campers by age and Spanish level, so every child learns and plays with kids of a similar age. Campers come from all over Europe, so English is the shared language and Spanish is the one everyone learns.

Activities: beach, sport and city adventures
Campers choose from a weekly menu, so everyone finds their thing:
- Surf, paddle boarding and kayaking with certified instructors. No experience is needed.
- Football and beach volleyball with mini tournaments.
- A paella workshop, art and flamenco dance.
- City excursions to the old town, the central market and the City of Arts and Sciences.
- A day at the Oceanogràfic aquarium and a weekend trip with hiking and river swimming.
Learn Spanish at camp
Your child does not need any Spanish to join. Classes have up to 12 children. On day one, each camper takes a short level test and joins a class that fits. Classes have up to 12 children and mix games with real conversation. Then the city becomes the classroom: ordering at the market, asking for directions and chatting with Spanish friends. Every camper goes home with a certificate that shows their level. Read more about our Spanish immersion camp.
Safety and supervision
Sending a child abroad is a big step, so here is how we look after them:
- One monitor for every 8 campers, with staff on site day and night.
- Qualified, background-checked staff with a child-protection certificate.
- A licensed youth camp with medical and liability insurance.
- Security cameras at the entrances and in shared areas, never in bedrooms or bathrooms.
- Daily photo updates and a direct phone line to the camp director.
More detail is on our camp safety page.
Medical care and emergencies
A first-aid trained team is on site, and a medical centre is nearby. Insurance is included in the price. Please tell us about allergies, medicines and any special needs when you book. If you live in the EU, we also recommend your child brings a European Health Insurance Card.
Food and special diets
All meals are included, with Spanish dishes, fruit and plenty of water. Tell us about allergies or special diets when you book, and we will plan meals around them.
Rooms
Campers sleep in shared rooms with children of the same gender and a similar age. Staff are on site day and night, so a monitor is always close by.
Getting there: airport pickup and drop-off
Valencia airport has direct flights from London, Amsterdam, Paris, Frankfurt, Brussels and most of Europe. A staff member meets every camper at the airport on arrival day and takes them back on departure day. Children who fly alone are met at the gate. Most airlines offer an unaccompanied minor service, and we can help you book it.
How to book the summer camp
